We offer one-on-one pharmacist/patient counselling. We review your medication profile and provide you with an update every time you order medication. This helps you manage you own health, and also helps make your next visit with your doctor a positive and informed one. We will assist you with your compliance, which is the cornerstone of your medical treatment. We have various packaging systems available to help people comply with a complex medication schedule; this can be done weekly or monthly as required.  Additionally, appointments can be booked with a pharmacist to address any specialized needs you may have. We can help you create medication schedules.

We carry a variety of ostomy, incontinence and mobility products and can counsel you about them. We can give asthma device, blood pressure meter, and blood glucose meter demonstrations, and free blood glucose meters are available with all glucose strip prescriptions.

Phone consultation is available for people with mobility limitations and to follow up on various conditions or treatments such as smoking cessation.

Home care service can be arranged for people returning home after hospitalization who may need help adapting to changes in their medication.

We also hold a clinic on a different subject every month including annual flu vaccination, proper breast cancer detection technique, and to measure your blood glucose, blood cholesterol or blood pressure levels, asthma device use and osteoporosis detection.
 
At Medical Arts Pharmacy, we believe in a holistic approach to healthcare. Natural medicine, vitamins, and herbs can play a key role in preventing many health problems as well as complementing traditional drug therapy. We understand the complexities of natural medicine and can offer sound, scientifically based nutritional advice and interactions with traditional medicine. Joanne Gauthier, our Natural Health Counsellor, can answer all your questions about our products, and our pharmacists can co-ordinate natural with traditional medicine in order to best meet your health needs.

We offer free delivery service, including prescription pick-up for clients in Cornwall.
